Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Spotlight on Circumerro
The traveling Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (RRR) banner has made a stop at the Circumerro office this week. The banner is displayed at Jackson-area businesses that demonstrate leadership in the RRR campaign and have been selected as RRR business leaders in the community.
Muriel Blaha of Teton County’s Solid Waste and Recycling Division explained the summer months in Jackson are the organization’s prime time to pass the banner around to RRR business leaders and generate awareness for the program.
The RRR campaign is a collaborative effort of Jackson Community Recycling, Pursue Balance’s Teton Sustainability Project, Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and Habitat for Humanity’s Jackson Hole ReStore. Formed to champion local green business certification programs and promote recycling and energy-saving practices, the group strives to integrate sustainable practices into the workplace.
When it comes to doing out part, Circumerro employees take turns pitching in with office recycling, strive to eliminate unnecessary paper waste and fill the office parking lot with more bikes than cars in the summer. We’re proud to display the RRR flag for a few weeks and support a sustainable office in Jackson and beyond.
