Circ designed a new brand identity and print collateral package for Jackson Hole interior designer, Jacque Jenkins-Stireman.

Jacque is a consummate designer. Formerly the head of her own creative agency, and now the mastermind behind Jacque Jenkins-Stireman interior design studio, Jacque and her team have built a reputation for flawless, beautiful, and functional interiors. Until she engaged Circ, Jacque’s brand was represented by name alone; a wordmark, carefully set in book-weight Futura. Jacque felt that it was time for her brand identity to evolve, as her studio had grown to need a coordinated presentation of her brand that could become recognized.

We elected to retain Jacque’s Futura wordmark for it’s classic, geometric form, to leverage the equity and character she had established by using it, and to establish base for continuity for the new identity. A new logo was developed to augment the wordmark and provide Jacque’s studio with a personal, yet universal, form to represent the company. The solution is a monogram, worked into a square tile inspired by inner and outer spaces, architectural design elements, and the basic forms present in the Futura wordmark. The mark was designed to be neatly arranged with the wordmark in multiple orientations, and to be more widely and liberally used in isolation as a signature or stamp.

For a woman steeped in the science of color, arriving at a particular orange hue and low-density black for the brand palette wasn’t difficult for Jacque– and left room for color exploration in future iterations of the identity. Details of the collateral package include a textured, spot UV-coated envelope interior, foil stamped stationery and business cards, and handmade building signage, sandblasted in relief.
