Circumerro Creative Group recently announced the launch of www.primarypolitics.com, a new Web site for The Dutko Group Companies, a public policy management firm based in Washington, D.C. The Primary Politics Web site was created for Craig Pattee and Jack Heath, founders of the successful Primary Politics e-mail newsletter.
The goal of the site is to provide a comprehensive resource for political news in all 50 states, with special emphasis placed on the New Hampshire Primary. “The new site results from our desire to create a resource and a destination for people seeking access to New Hampshire primary news, as well as state and national policy news,” said Craig Pattee, Primary Politics founder and President of The Dutko Group Companies. “Not only did Circumerro provide us with a design that puts us at the top of our field, but they also integrated the new site with a content management system that we had already invested in.”
The Web site is a combination of dynamic and static elements. Content that is entered into the existing newsletter content management system is pulled onto the site applying XSL to XML datasets. The site was built using DHTML and PHP. “Our main objective with this project was to provide the publishers with a contemporary, interactive design that offers easy access to content and an intuitive navigation,” said Noah Waterhouse, Director of Web Development at Circumerro Creative Group. “We were able to integrate the site with their existing content management system, allowing for cohesion between newsletter and Web site. The Dutko Group and its partners are a great match for our skills, and we enjoyed providing them with a site that reflects the high level of quality that their industry demands.”
